You are being humble because you’re a gentleman. Anyone with real values who knows you and the sacrifices you have made is well aware that you are a hero. Calling someone a hero these days sounds kind of corny I guess, but it’s true. Who else has given up what you have given up to uphold the harder right over the easier wrong?
